How Is Your Heart?

How Is Your Heart?

The heart is a primary organ in our body, arguably the most important, because if it stops working, the whole body dies. If we don't take care of the heart, the dreaded heart diseases will come, and eventually, a heart attack. Therefore, it's important to take care of it with diet, exercise, healthy habits, etc. This is on an anatomical level, but on a spiritual level, we must also protect it from jealousy, envy, grudges, hatred, the thirst for revenge, etc.

It is from the heart that good and bad things come out. In the Kingdom of God or the heavens, it must first be established within each one so that it can come out from there, manifest, and colonize the earth. And the places where it should first be established in our lives are in the heart and our way of thinking.

For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness.

Mark 7:21-22 NLT "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life." Proverbs 4:23 NLT

What we have in our heart will be expressed externally. If there are bad thoughts or desires, that will manifest and lead us to death; but if there are good desires towards others, if there is love, we give life (time) to others. That is what is inside us and is manifested externally, leading us to life.

Is your heart aligned with the kingdom? If so, good things will come out of it. If not, bad things will come out of it. We want blessings without surrendering to the King. He asked for an exchange of lives: by dying to ours, we receive his (Jesus’). Are you willing to leave yours?

There is a saying that goes, "The king is dead, long live the king." In other words, until each illegitimate king (without right to the throne) that we as humans have allowed to sit on the throne is dethroned, the true King will not manifest in our hearts and lives.

The Lord promised freedom to His people Israel from oppression in Egypt. And He fulfilled it, but not without first causing the 10 plagues. Each of them toppled (beheaded) an idol—something they trusted in, something they had unfortunately lived with for more than 400 years. What have you lived with for a long time that you find hard to let go of and that is occupying your heart and not allowing the Lord to govern your life? Those things are what make your heart sick, and consequently, the result will be eternal death.

Think about those things today and remove them from your heart.
